A HEALTHY LIFESTYLE CAN PREVENT HAIR THINNING AND HAIR LOSS

We live in a busy world today, our fast paced lifestyles can put a toll on our bodies leaving us susceptible to all kinds of conditions like high blood pressure, stress and even hair thinning and hair loss. It is common for us to neglect our hair and we commonly abuse it when we style it, using all sorts of chemical filled products. In no time at all this can lead to hair thinning and hair loss.

The key to long lasting healthy hair and hair growth is to change to a healthy lifestyle which will be discussed below.

Fight Stress

Stress can trigger all sorts of conditions in the body and it is said to be the cause of early hair loss. A study done in Singapore stated that men who are exposed to extreme stress related work or school are more prone to hair thinning and hair loss, compared to men who are not exposed to extreme stress. The best way to fight stress related hair loss is to learn how to fight stress itself.

Healthy Eating

Our busy lifestyles sometimes forces us to consume fast foods because they are easily available and can be eaten to go. This is not really good for our overall health and hair growth. It is very important to change our eating habits and go for a well balanced diet. As the saying goes “you are what you eat”, as for hair: nothing can stimulate healthy hair growth than a healthy meal.

No to Low Protein Diets

If you’re planning to go on a diet and want to have healthy growing hair, then don’t go on a low protein diet plan. Protein is very important for hair because this is what hair is mostly made of. Hair producing cells found underneath the hair follicles are considered one of the fastest growing cells in the body, so it is crucial to consume the right amounts of protein daily to provide all the nutrients these cells need for healthy hair growth.

Exercise

Being physically fit is not only good for your health, its great for hair too. All the sweat being poured during exercise help unclog pores and exercise also increase blood circulation, which means more nutrients and oxygen are being delivered all over the body, including the scalp which is good for hair growth.
